           "Finally, the last test is over !" declared[宣布] Jasmine , my best friend and fellow sufferer during the common test week . " Yeah , so we are going to Orchard right ? " i queried . We had been planning to have a shopping trip along with some others after the tests were finished . Jasmine nodded as we chatted and giggle , joining the rest of out classmates. 
          "Wow , there are so many students , " Kelly , a classmate , remarked as we exited the Orchard MRT station . Indeed[其实], it seemed that most schools had similarly ended their term tests and students were flooding the shopping district[区域] . Jasmine and i wasted no time in hitting our favourite shopping center . At the department store there , we browsed and bought some items . Later, at the arrange time , we regrouped with our friends to have a drink at the nearby fast food restaurant . 
           Without warning , i felt someone rudely yanking[猛拉] my right hand. i turned with annoyance to see a student of another school. "Why did you steal my wallet ? Return it to me !" She stared daggers[像短剑一般] at me , with two other companions flanking[两侧,陪伴] her .
           "What are u talking about ? i didn't steal anything ! " i quizzically[感到好笑的，诧异] replied . 
          "i was with her the whole time . Don't accuse her when u don't have any evidence."Jasmine came to my defence . My friends made similar remarks , waiting for this intruder[不速之客] to explain herself . 
          "Oh please , u are lying . i saw your uniform and the bag that u are holding . You bumped[撞] into me and stole my wallet when i wasn't looking . Return it to me !" The girl and her friends stood their ground . i was getting irritated with her . Raising my voice , i retorted, "You must be blind ! i never did that . Are u looking for trouble ?!" 
         "U thief !" she hurled[大声说出，辱骂］ the accusation  at me . We stare at each other , my indignation[愤怒] matching her anger . " You are crazy ! i am telling u it's not me . if u are trying to get money out of me by threatening me , it's no going to work ." i intended[打算] to leave the premises , seeing how there were a number of onlookers watching our exchange . As my group and i were about to leave , she stood in the way . Summoning[拿出,鼓起] all my patience , i tried not to lose my temper when Kelly asked " Where did this supposed theft take place anyway?" 
        " At Wusma Atria just half an hour ago ."Without a word , i opened my bag , and showed her the receipt of a purchase i made around that timing . "We were at this mall all the while . i think you got the wrong person ." Jasmine calmly explained . One of the girl's friends also whispered to her , doubtlessly[大概] affirming[申明] that she had made a mistake . Embarrassed , they apologised and took their leave quickly .
        My friends looked at me , and i shrugged. You thief , " Kelly mimicked[模仿] mockingly[嘲笑的，愚弄] in a sing-song voice . We enjoyed the rest of the day , putting the matter behind us .
