Parents and teachers are partners in the education of children . In what ways can parents and teachers contribute to the education of children ?

QUESTION : Parents and teachers are partners in the education of children .  In what ways can parents and teachers contribute to the education of children ?

As a baby looks up at the world with wonder , gurgling[婴儿的声音] in delight , her parents' voices keep encouraging her . "Say Mummy...""Pa...pa... Say Papa." Her father and mother look adoringly[热爱,爱慕] at her and teach her to speak, learn her own name , and the names of many others and objects in the days that follow. Other skills such as eating and so on are also taught patiently with most children learning eagerly . Then the day comes for the child to enter nursery or kindergarten where they learn how colour within the lines , what the days of the week are , how to read and write and so on . Parents at home also coax the child to do the homework assigned and guide the child accordingly .
Such are the familiar scenes one passes through during the days of childhood as one acquires[获得] education . Parents in the home front are the valued allies[得力助手] of teachers to help those in their care[在家长的关怀下] continue successfully along the path of learning[继续成功的走向学习的道路] . Parents are the ones who can help children understand the value of respect and diligence[勤勉]. With such value inculcated[反复灌输] , the child will enter school with the proper attitudes to absorb what is taught during classes .
Moral education also starts from home ; other moral behaviour can be learnt by the child through observing their parents . The way parents speak and treat each other and other people will inevitably[不可避免,必然地] be absorbed by the child . Parents teach by example by being honest to others and through speech that uphold[维护] good morals . Discipline  administered by parents whether by verbal counsel [语言上地训导] , lecturing[教训,谴责] , or at times reasonable physical punishment helps the child understand the boundaries as well as what is expected of them .
Teachers who love a subject can also infect[传染] their wards[孩子] with such a passion[激情]. whether in the fields of the art , such as languages or music , or science , which encompasses[包围,包括] mathematics and other logic-based subjects; teachers impart[传授] knowledge and help their students understand and hopefully grow to love the subject .
With examinations and tests that bear down  on students , teachers are also in a position to guide them in coping with the stress through time management and setting reasonable goals . Students also have to learn how to memorise and assimilate[吸收] the information dispensed[提供,分发] through books or notes . Parents can help by providing encouragement as well as a good study environment at home .
Students can learn to express their views and thoughts constructively[有助益地,积极地] if parents and teachers are supportive and not demeaning[失去尊重] in the way they treat children . The love of learning can be constantly nurtured[培育] and cultivated[培养] in children such that students will have the desire to keep learning even after school and when childhood has long passed . This would mean children should be pushed to learn even beyond the classroom by their teachers and parents .
The partnership of parents and teachers in contributing to the growth of the child will help the child have a smooth journey in becoming an educated individual in all aspects [方面].
